GPMCT is excited to bring The Maine Outdoor Film Festival Selects Tour to the Alamo Theatre in Bucksport, in partnership with PRNEMBA. Featuring five standout short films—spotlighting adventure, resilience, and the natural world—plus a full-length screening of Anytime, showcasing fifteen of the world’s top freeride mountain bikers. The MOFF Selects Tour travels across Maine each year, sharing curated film collections with communities statewide—don’t miss this unique evening of storytelling and adventure.

TEAM SPORT: A TIM BROWN STORY | 5.47 minutes | by Brayden Rudert, Timothy Brown | United States | Short synopsis: Team Sport tells the story of Tim Brown’s journey as an adaptive surfer following a ski patrolling accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury and quadriplegia. Together with the Wave Crew – a group of his close friends and family who all share a passion for surfing – Tim adapts to continuously return to the North Atlantic Ocean year round.

THE BRIGHT STONE | 3.8 minutes | by Gareth Leah | United States | Short synopsis: The Bright Stone follows photographer Gareth Leah as he climbs a remote granite tower in Brazil’s wilderness. This meditative film explores the physical and mental challenges of establishing a new route, reflecting on why we confront fear and seek what lies beyond comfort.

THE SILENT SPOTTER | 18.93 minutes | by Ra Beattie | United States | Short synopsis: Silent Spotter follows Tommy Batun, a deaf and mute fly-fishing guide in Mexico. Using lip-reading and self-invented signs, Tommy leads anglers with wit and resilience.
