Monthly Meet Up: Hike In The Open
Pride Hike & Picnic w/Out In The Open

@ Great Pond Mountain, Don Fish Road, Orland

It’s Monthly Meetup time! Meet up with other LGBTQ+ folks and allies for a hike up Great Pond Mountain followed by a picnic on the Dead River.

All ages and all experience levels are welcome!

DETAILS:

Offering two routes up the mountain, providing a longer and shorter hike.

• Please anticipate steep inclines, roots, and plenty of rocks on mountain trails and to the picnic site.
• Shorter route will require a vehicle or willingness to carpool to travel to the trailhead.
• Short hike to picnic site, be prepared to carry in and out.

What to bring?

  Necessities:

• Comfortable hiking clothing and footwear
• H2O
• Picnic and Snacks

  Optional:

• Hiking Poles
• Picnic blankets and camp chairs
• Swimsuit (Great swimming spot if you’re into it.)
• Binoculars
