Seeking 2025 Series Sponsorship
The Views From Great Pond Mountain Speaker Series began in 2024, bringing the community together for discussions about the Maine woods. Organized by the Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust, the series featured seven speakers at local Bucksport businesses and the Wildlands. These speakers, including filmmakers, photographers, outdoor advocates, authors, journalists, and TV personalities, share their experiences and connections to the Maine woods.
The program supported local businesses and highlighted the work of the speakers in conservation and recreation. The series also provided a platform to showcase our efforts to protect over 5,100 acres of land for wildlife habitat, sustainable forestry, and educational and low-impact recreational opportunities.
On the heels of a successful first year, we look forward to bringing more speakers, films, and events to the community in 2025, continuing to offer the Bucksport area opportunities to connect with the natural world and those working to protect it.
